he had his first chemo (taxol & carboplatin) treatment this week and handled it like a champ
he wasn't very happy about it but he is now sporting a couple of tattoos

radiation will start after he gets a pet scan (Nov 13)

the most discomforting thing he is experiencing so far is constipation
